All data comes from the FDIC BankFind Suite API (institutions, branch locations and bank failures), published by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and in the public domain. Financial figures (total assets, deposits, equity, net income, return on assets and equity) come from the latest quarterly Call Report, as of June 30, 2026. FDIC amounts are reported in thousands of dollars and shown here rounded.

Inactive institutions are kept for reference: most became inactive through mergers or acquisitions. The failed bank list covers FDIC and FSLIC failures since 1934.
